Final Cut Pro has a Glow effect that is very limited in it's customizability. This Glint effect allows you to create a way more visually appealing glow to your footage, text and graphics.

I used it to create a beautiful glow on this hologram effect. Watch this tutorial to see the effect in action.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Quit Final Cut Pro

  2. Download the DMG file and double click to open it

  3. Double-click on the installer and select "Install"

  4. Open Final Cut Pro and head over to your Effects Browser window

  5. Look for the "BW - Glint" category and drag-and-drop the effect onto your clips
